Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to support our core product development initiatives by implementing application solutions within our SAP landscape. This role focuses on designing and delivering products using Neptune Software (primary) and SAP ABAP, JavaScript and SAPUI5, ensuring seamless user experiences and high-performance solutions. Success in this role requires strong proficiency in both classical/modern ABAP development practices, as well as SAPUI5 web application development, to translate complex business requirements into innovative and reliable web applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, the product development lead, and cross-functional technical teams to build and enhance SAP-integrated web applications, while also providing technical leadership to junior developers when possible. Key Responsibilities Web & Backend Development Develop SAP-integrated applications using ABAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, and Neptune. Build and optimize backend logic for ECC and S/4HANA. Technical Delivery Design, code, document, and test ABAP components Produce and maintain clear, accurate technical specifications. Collaboration & Requirements Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Contribute to design discussions and ensure technical alignment. Support & Maintenance Investigate and resolve product issues and defects. Coordinate with teams to address recurring problems and ensure system stability. Required Qualifications Experience & Education Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on SAP development experience. Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields. Fluent English, both written and spoken. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in classical ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP development. Knowledge of JavaScript and SAP Fiori/UI5 freestyle or Neptune Software application development. Knowledge of integration technologies such as BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services. Knowledge of RICEFW developments such as ALV Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows. Willingness to learn and develop web applications using Neptune Software + SAPUI5 within SAP environments is a plus . Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) You stand out if you bring any of the following distinguishing qualifications: Experience with Neptune Software SAP Edition development. Experience working with Agile or Scrum project methodologies. Strong experience with web development and advanced JavaScript. Strong experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 freestyle development. SAP Certifications in ABAP Development, Fiori, CAP, RAP, BTP, or Neptune Software. Functional knowledge in SAP MM, PM, or WM modules. Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), RAP, CAP, Fiori Elements, or emerging SAP technologies.
