Job Descriptions: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team, assisting our Pre-Litigation department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury case management, along with exceptional organizational and communication skills. As a Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing a caseload of personal injury claims from intake through pre-litigation resolution, communicating with clients and medical providers, and preparing demand packages. This position requires strong attention to detail and familiarity with case management software. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from intake through pre-litigation resolution or referral to the litigation department. Communicate regularly with clients to provide case status updates and gather necessary information and documentation. Request, track, and follow up on medical records, bills, and police reports from providers and agencies. Coordinate with medical providers regarding treatment status, gaps in care, and outstanding liens. Prepare and submit demand packages to insurance carriers. Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters under attorney supervision. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and case management software records. Monitor treatment progress and statute of limitations deadlines to ensure timely case progression. Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to prepare cases for referral to litigation when necessary. Provide administrative support within the pre-litigation department as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience as a case manager, preferably in personal injury or pre-litigation. Personal injury experience required. Experience requesting and reviewing medical records, bills, and liens. Experience preparing demand packages and negotiating with insurance adjusters. Strong understanding of the pre-litigation process for personal injury claims. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, clients, medical providers, and insurance companies. Bilingual: English and Portuguese speaker (written and verbal).
