Job Mission: Responsible for providing business and financial support to the Division Manager and team via an engaged business partnering approach to ensure effective profitability and free cash flow management. He/ she engages with the Division operational organizations to provide business performance insights and forward-looking analysis facilitating business decision-making.   Responsibility:   Drive financial performance thru use of business insight analytics. Develop financial business plans and forecasts for the division and ensure that the goals are challenging but realistic relative to overall market expectations and available resources. Implement action plans to address profitability issues and underperform contracts. Optimize cash flow, including key indicators like DSO, CAPEX, inventory. Review and examine the financial impact of new and existing investment opportunities with a view to maximizing the return on investment. Maintain control over and maximum use of working capital. Support the Tax organization with tax audit inquiries requiring business input, and ensure correct legal entities used for operations (sales & purchases). Highlights business-related risks & exposures on Balance Sheet Exposure report, engaging with Hubs as needed on AR, Inventory, Fixed Assets and key provisions. Review all major tenders (risks and opportunities), contractual terms and evaluate impact on IBT associated with pricing in bids vs. optimization of people/resources (i.e. FA, Inventory, M&S...). Monitor and actively participate in management of Business activity and performance metrics managed by the Division. Review capital projects and manage capital allocation across the Division. Engage to coach the Division operations management on financial principles, as well as providing advice to financial enquiries. Participate in managing local alliances and joint ventures. Responsible for development and coaching of Division Business Analyst. Train line managers interpret and comprehend financial statements and principles, and coach them regarding key business Division drivers. Answer inquiries regarding financial assets, recommend policies, and advice and council line management. Assist in establishing short- and long-terms division goals & objectives in alignment with strategic plan. Analyze Customer Contract Commercial/Financial Performance Review Tender/Proposal Documentation Review Contracts Review Business Unit Profitability Conduct Contract Assessment Validate Revenue Recognition Criteria Influence new business development. Build ideas, commercial models and alternative ways of doing business. Support, influence, and sign off Technology investment decisions on research, development and sustaining pertaining to the Division. Utilize financial results and analysis to develop strategic recommendations.   Qualification and requirement: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, business administration or engineering or related Previous Controller experience in O&G environments Strong business-oriented mindset with core expertise in commercial activities and client relationship management Skilled in tender review and management, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals Strong decision-making ability, with a track record of taking ownership and driving results SAP experience (preferable) Proficiency in computer skills, Office Package Proficiency in English (mandatory) Legal authorization to work and live in Brazil   This position is based in Brazil and subject to Brazilian labor laws. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in Brazil, including a valid work visa and the ability to be formally hired under a Brazilian employment contract (“carteira de trabalho assinada”).
