Key Responsibilities Collaborate in the development and regular updating of the school’s Pedagogical and Educational Plan. Maintain ongoing communication with teachers and students to identify the individual needs of students with special educational needs, disabilities, or students undergoing an educational assessment, always in coordination with the school leadership team. Develop individualized educational planning aligned with the school’s pedagogical framework and educational goals. Develop accessible and differentiated learning materials according to each student’s individual needs. Adapt assessments, assignments, activities, and projects to ensure accessibility and meaningful participation. Provide training and guidance to teaching assistants and 1:1 Learning Support Assistants (when applicable) regarding inclusive practices and student-specific strategies. Meet with families to conduct an initial developmental and educational intake, discuss students’ needs, and support referrals to therapists and multidisciplinary professionals, in collaboration with the school psychologists and academic coordinators. Provide ongoing support and professional development for teachers and other school staff on inclusive education, differentiated instruction, accessibility, and appropriate support strategies. Provide direct support to students with special educational needs during assessments, challenging situations or crises, and when they require additional academic or learning support. Develop projects and individualized plans to support students with high abilities/giftedness, in alignment with the school’s learning support program. Collaborate with teachers in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), considering each student’s specific educational needs, strengths, and learning goals. Conduct monthly updates of students’ educational and developmental records and initial pedagogical assessments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. Postgraduate specialization in Educational Psychology, Psychopedagogy, Special Education, Inclusive Education, or a related field. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and/or in an inclusive educational environment is highly desirable. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, families, school psychologists, coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams.
