We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join a well-established nursing home group in Ireland, providing day-to-day care and support to older people. ?? Location: Ireland ?? Contract Length: 2 years ?? Approximate Salary: €32,691 per year / €2,724.25 per month gross, before tax and other statutory deductions Benefits Employer-sponsored Employment Permit Free accommodation for the first month Fully furnished accommodation can be arranged by the employer close to the nursing home (optional), with monthly rent typically between €600 and €800 €250 reimbursement towards the cost of your flight to Ireland Meals available at the workplace for a subsidised price of approximately €3 Essential Requirements Qualification in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or as a Nursing Technician Conversational English, with the ability to communicate effectively in everyday situations and in a healthcare environment Previous experience in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital, nursing home or similar environment Reliable, responsible and professional approach to work Caring, attentive and compassionate manner Key Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, mobility and personal hygiene Assist with meal preparation and light household duties when required Remind and supervise residents in relation to their medication, in accordance with their care plan and workplace procedures Provide companionship and emotional support Support residents living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease or those requiring a higher level of care Follow individual care plans and accurately record the care provided Report any concerns or changes in a resident’s condition to the appropriate member of the management or healthcare team Additional Information Minimum Education: Relevant technical or professional healthcare qualification Experience: 1–3 years
