Requirements: • University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent working experience; • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; • Experience in purchasing and negotiation within supplier relationships; • Experience within the manufacturing industry; • Proven negotiation, analytical and communication skills; • Strong business acumen, agile in way of working; • Positive attitude, service minded and target oriented approach; • Desire to work in a collaborative team towards a common purpose; • Strong team player with the ability to lead; • Ability to be open minded, to encourage collaboration and to add value with a continuous improvement mindset; • Motivated by change management and ability to drive change; • Multicultural experience; • Willingness to travel occasionally. Activities: • Leading the purchasing activities on your scope with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the customers maximum satisfaction; • Negotiating QDCFTSR of the supplier base under your segments; • Performing purchasing activities related to ordering, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers; • Working with your North American Engineering and global Purchasing counterparts to drive current supplier performance to the defined targets; • Researching market trends and engaging potential new suppliers in feasibility discussions.
